Significant exploration was carried out by Uranerz (Germany) in the late 1970's and early 1980's. Extensive mapping and sampling programs, in addition to both airborne and ground geophysical programs were completed. Approximately 145 drill holes outlined four areas of mineralization know as Vivian, Nancy I, Nancy II, and Berts.

Uranium mineralization is in the form of fine-grained pitchblende accompanied by various sulphides, with the presence of several metallic elements, including molybdenum. Suggested deposit types at Dieter Lake have included unconformity-type, black shale type, and syngenetic stratabound.

In 2005, an all weather base camp was established and a summer program that included mapping, geochemcial sampling, rehabilitating old core racks, relogging and sampling core, and a GEOTEM airborne survey were completed.

The Dieter Lake Property exhibits excellent potential to expand the resource base along strike and at depth. In 2007, the Company proposed a 5,000m drill program within defined mineralized areas, in addition to new unexplored targets. At that time drill rigs were unavailable, and the program was deferred. Further exploration has been deferred, subject to additional financing. The property is in good standing until 2010 and beyond.
