Dundee Securities Senior Mining Analyst David Talbot worked for nine years as a geologist in the gold exploration industry in Northern Ontario. David joined Dundee's research department in May 2003 and in the summer of 2007, he took over the role of analyzing the fast-growing uranium sector. David is a member of the PDAC, the Society of Economic Geologists and graduated with distinction from the Univ. of Western Ontario, with an Honours B.Sc. degree in geology.

Rob has extensive financial markets experience dating back to 1995 and which has included roles such as being a member of a five-person team running a multi-strategy hedge fund, a base metals research associate at BMO Capital Markets, a manager of resource funds at a boutique investment management company and as an equity analyst covering the global mining sector at an independent investment bank.

Rob has a Master of Business Administration degree from the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto and holds a Chartered Investment Manager (CIM®) designation.

Mining analyst

Paul has a broad range of experience in various aspects of the mining and minerals business. He began his career as a geologist for Canadian junior resource companies in the Western United States searching for various base metals, precious metals, and industrial minerals; owning a stake in a private consulting firm as Vice President of Exploration. He sold insurance cover to mining firms and geologists during the 1980's and 1990's and received specialist training in natural disaster preparedness, loss control, and mitigation. In the UK he has worked in the equity market media outlets of Digitallook and Hemscott before joining VSA as mining analyst in 2006.
